For the upcoming holiday season, Mountain Gypsea will be traveling throughout New England and participating in 14 markets. I will be based in Cambridge at my sister’s house and so stoked to be around family during the holidays. I lived in Boston and New York City for 14 years, so it holds a very special place in my heart. I have not been back for this length of time since I moved away five years ago.
It is nerve racking to go to a completely new geographic area to vend during the most potentially lucrative time of year. Not knowing any other vendors or any of the promoters - there is a high risk. The reward is being able to spend Thanksgiving through New Year’s with my niece and nephew. That is why I live this nomadic lifestyle and building a business that allows me to travel, make money and spend time with my loved ones.
